The Reverend


Michael Hustead


Rector

Father Michael was born and raised in the area around Dallas, Texas. He grew up in the Episcopal/Anglican Church and came to faith in Christ as a child. He and his wife Krystal have three children. Michael graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Wildlife and Conservation Science in 2013 and worked for several years as a wildlife biologist. In 2018 he answered God’s call to ordained ministry and moved to Pittsburgh to go to seminary. He graduated with his Master of Divinity from Trinity School for Ministry and was ordained in May 2021. Michael accepted the call to serve as Rector of Grace Church in September of 2021. In his free time, Michael enjoys reading, writing fantasy, and hunting.

Brad Roderick


Priest

Father Brad was born in California and lived in Florida and Mississippi while growing up. At the age of 17, he encountered the living Christ for the first time. Immediately, he sensed the Father calling him to spend his life telling others about Jesus. He earned a bachelor’s degree at Mississippi College and a Master of Divinity and Ph.D. at the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. While planting a church in Massachusetts, he met his wife, Gretchen. Following 11 years in church planting ministry in the US, they and their two sons, Joshua and Caleb, spent more than 19 years as missionaries in South and Southeast Asia. Brad currently serves as Associate Professor of Missions at the Trinity School for Ministry.

Cariño Casas

Deacon

Deacon Cariño hails from El Paso, Texas, and has be privileged to walk with Jesus since a young age. She studied for a bachelor’s degree in journalism at Texas A&M University and worked as a journalist before answering the call to serve the Church, first in the media arts and now educating Christians about the Jewish roots of the Christian faith. She graduated from Trinity School for Ministry in December 2020 with a Master of Arts in Religion degree in biblical studies. She is the executive director of the Church’s Ministry Among Jewish People (CMJ USA).

Brian Buckley

Brian is a native of the South Hills of Pittsburgh and earned his music degrees at Duquesne University and Carnegie Mellon University. He currently teaches music at Sewickley Academy as well as music composition at Duquesne University.
